Red hair, Brown eyes.

Innocent, Too innocent.

 

He fell for my tricks,

Tried to play my game..

He lost.

 

We both did.

 

I've said sorry

Too many times to count.

Not worth much anymore.

 

You loved me,

I crushed your heart,

Apologized

and did it again.

Are the words "Im sorry"

Worth nothing now?

Abused the right to ask for forgivness.

Lovely poem, and very touching too. I was been in a similar situation a few years ago. Was very good friends with someone. He wanted more, I didn't, but accidentally led him on, I guess I liked the attention.


This poem was very honest. It takes a lot to be able to open up like that and admit to things such as this. I hope you and your friend manage to reconcile somewhere along the line.

I liked this poem, but I think you could've been more descriptive - the lines were too short. The idea is there, and it's great, it's just that you could have made the flow much better.

My favorite stanza is definitely the 2nd!! :)
