All over Again

All over Again

A Poem by Aradie Rain
"

Moving away

"

Dark empty house

Now cold and damp

No one to fill the space

Once filled with love and laughter

Warming children by the fire

On a cold winters day.

Feasts on the table

Litted by candles

Every Sunday night

Scrabble and Cards on the rug in the living room

As the dogs take over the couch.

Smells leaked from the kitchen.

Italian, Mexican, everykind of cuisine.

Made your mouth water.

Splashing in the tub,

Bubbles every where,

Water soaked the floor.

Bedtime stories

Children snuggled in their beds

falling asleep as the story ends.

Once this house was a home.

Now it is empty and cold.

Ready to move on

to a house of my own.

Making new memories,

All over again.
