Afternoon WalkingA Poem by Aradie RainWent for a much due walk this afternoon 1/26/10Fresh air deeply needed.
Mid springs grace relieves the soul.
Dancing in the street Flips and tricks off curbs.
Balancing the curb watching the clouds fly by.
Deep intake of Air
Sun and moon wave their goodbyes as they pass through time.
Clouds surpress the weather.
Trees begin to grow, awakening from their slumber, to the grass tickling their toes.
Wonderment of the world
Pine cones fall from the heavens
Mud paints the worlds new canvas.
Kittens walk the street Paw to paw and eye to eye.
Leaves old sprinkled across the earth waiting for their predecessors to be born
Rays of sun make their ways through the branches Of oaks and pine lighting up the beauty.
Tree's so high, can barely see th top.
Crunching of leaves and twigs below my heels.
Grey clouds on the edge of light; no threat to come.
Leaning trees bow down to beauty, as it rains down in showers of yellow and gold.
Dream makers take flight as I walk by.
This world is so much more
than the fast cars
drugs
money that we consume like air.
Breathe in the sun Let out the pain and dissapointment.
