Great Poets

Great Poets

A Poem by Aradie Rain

Great Poets

with sick minds

decaying in their own memories.

Trapped in their pasts

Unable to be freed from bondage.

No versus of love.

No lies or slander.

Plain truth be spoken

All tales of glory soon be gone,

Forgotten by sweet innocence.

No child may sleep,

old poets horrors now their own.

Nightmares haunt the listening.

Screams follow the nights dead.

Great poets with sick minds.

Decaying in their own infamy.

Unable to die.

well, that's kind of sad... haunted and dark.
