My fear: Love vs Freedom

Questions with no answers, will end with time.

I know not of fear,

of the inanimate object.

Nor people and their possed minds.

 

No fear of animals,

Bugs or storms

can stop me.

 

Fear to overcome

Is not for me.

I undo my own terror

 

However there is on thing I fear.

 

It is my love for you may diminish.

I love you so much!

 

Is it only of the mind?

Will my body forsaken its owner?

 

Friends for so long

Our love has grown stronger

Is it too late to go back?

 

My fear of hurting,

of losing you...

 

From here on out

It's friends or lovers.

 

The Prior is too far gone

So lovers we shall be.

 

Wild oats

I have yet to sew,

Stay behind closed doors.

 

To lose you

I cannot bare.

But my feminine urges allude me.

 

Love vs Freedom

 

Can one have both?

 

For I am a winged bird, born to soar

 

Fear to love.

Fear of slavery.

 

Though I fear no other

 

These thoughts will stay with me from now on

Very unique and interesting take on Freedom VS Love.. now this I can truly relate to.. Can one have both??? For some they claim they have found freedom in love.. others find it binding.. I suppose it depends on what it is you want from a relationship and the other party! The fear of losing another.. without knowing oneself is a hard thing.. chance the loss but then as I've been there.. you question.. Am I being selfish to keep this other (who may know what they want) when you do not know if you want the commitment.. now who hasn't been there???

Even the greatest relationships have coursed through these emotions I believe.. set it free and find regret or keep another and maybe have regrets for loss of freedom.. depends on what is truer to you.. not an easy solution.. I hope you find it without the regret! I loved the honesty of emotions in this.. felt very surreal.

I enjoyed this writing, and felt the way the heart can be torn in life. Freedom or love? I think it#s different for everyone, and that's why it can be such an interesting subject to write about....keep on writing...!
