Protect me while im dreaming

Lay down next to me

your head next to mine

hold me tight safe from harm

 

When my dreams

turn to nightmares

pull me to your side

 

Show me where the light is

Where its safe to hide

 

wake me up

when the lights go out

I cannot see in the dark

 

Wrap me in your arms

Keep me safe inside

kiss me soft and sweet

letting me know its alright
