Forgotten Warnings

Forgotten Warnings

A Poem by Aradie Rain
"

wondering in my mind, what im supposed to do!

"

for once in my life

i will make the right decision

and leave

leave before someone gets hurt

before i can lose control

and do the hurting

its what always happens

no matter how much

i try

so i will stop

will end it before it begins

stop myself from hurting you

but can i be held responsible,

if your the one who follows me

and draws me back

if your the one who makes my heart

beat and pound on the inside of my chest

begging me to get out

making me long to be with you

as you seduce me with your sweet words

it would still be my fault

because i was weak

forgot my own warnings

and fell for you too

in the second/third line it says "before i lose control, and do the hurting"
i feel like these words are meant to people like me. before i lose control, and before i hurt them. i just want out, before those i love are hurt. thanks for making sure i remembered these warnings.

I like the question of fault in regard to the pain you inflict. Fear of hurting others shows goodness of heart. This poem poses the question, though, of whether warnings are worth going against. Fear ruins some of the potentially greatest things in life.

Overall, a great write. A pleasure to read.

This is very good. You can run, but you can only run so far until you're caught and dragged back down into that which you run from.
This is a very nice piece. I can feel the emotions you put into this, the uncertainty, and the doubt. Perhaps it is not so bad to fall for someone, it does not always mean they will get hurt. I can feel the uncertainty here, like i said. I feel it in the word choice, "Fault" and "Weak". You make it very clear exactly to what extent you have been brought into this situation.

Very nice piece. It needs a little grammar work, but otherwise the flow is rather good, from complete certainty that you should leave, to the uncertainty about not knowing if you can actually get away free. Well done.
