Regrets

I used to regret

all the little things

that make us human

 

I used to wish

I'd never fallen

I'd never made those mistakes

 

I learned now

that i'm happy I fell

It makes getting up so much better

 

I loved

I lost

I'm happy

 

To love another

To be loved

Is better than to never have felt

 

No matter my pain

My regrets

are now memories

 

Of things

that used to make me

smile

 

Dont regret what made you feel

No matter the pain

It's better to have loved and lost

than to never have loved at all

I don't think not a one of us have a regret in our lives. But that is a good point, we need to learn from them and move on! Great poem!
