A Different Kind of Love

A Different Kind of Love

A Poem by Ice Penada
"

A poem that everyone can relate to.

"

There once was a girl who wanted to fit in

But couldn’t find an empty space to fill in

In a circle of friends, she was driven to the corner

When they couldn’t fit in, she was the left over

She smiled and tried to say a word

But in the end, she couldn’t be hears

She didn’t have a part to play

And had no one to talk to at the end of the day

And in the midst of rejection

She found comfort in her own reflection

She learned that in a world of selfishness

Being contented is her happiness
