for the heaven fiction contest

all of my thoughts are settling in
almost a whole year since I've been
caught red handed, feeling shamed
losing all of the good friends that i blamed
but I've gained them back plus a few new
the new all wear hoods of black,shading their eyes from view
as i defend you sit and watch
you chuckle and view without one touch
but i still love you because i understand
you don't work well with simple demands
thats why i stay here for you,
after all thats what you would do.
