A Poem by Shalva Kikalishvili

When My Bones Are Creaking And My Skin Is Rusting When My Heart Pumps Blood Clots And My Veins Are Scratched Only Then I Feel How I Miss Your Life Giving Light When My Eyes Are Full With Smashed Glass And Tears Rain As Ice Needles When I Am Covered With Cloth of Dark, Deeming Grace Only Then I Feel How I Miss Your Peaceful Face When I’m spread Through Yellow Dessert As Blue Bench of Clouds in the White Sky When the Wind Blows My Transparent Flash When With Cold Comes the Warmth of You I Want To Be Spread As Long As It Takes To Reach You.
