Let's Waltz

 

Oh picture, picture in my mind,

      Unroll gently to reveal yourself

Glimpse my love that I can’t find,

      Shades of lofty mountains high

Sky so vast and clouds so blue

      Above all these, where we could fly,

Dreams of love and kisses sweet,

      Hugs so tight and a peaceful sleep,

Oh bring that on as a visual treat!

 

 

With closed eyes dreamt our tale,

      Swinging in mind’s boundless lands

Loves album of dreams unveil,

      Moist kiss gently touching wet eyes,

Gently presented himself in front

      Where joys invade and tear flies,

He said “No need of a dreamy dream

      Let our reality dance to a love filled note

Waltzing the floor so swift and stream”

Nothing as good as laughter and dancing. I was station in Texas. I learn to waltz and two-step. Never had a moment of boredom in my 5 years at Fort Hood. The poem is amazing. Made me wish to find some time and take poor wife dancing. A positive and beautiful poem. Thank you.
