Take time to look around you, For the days you live here may be few.
For the crisp wind knocks your door, The yellow canary has songs to pour, Droplets of dews drip from green leaves, From the old tree that shades your eaves,
The blossoms bloom like ever before, Take time to sense the aura and adore, The rainbow paints across the azure sky, Have you ever wondered how or why?
Colorful butterflies flutter here and there, Our life on earth with them we share, Have you ever noticed the bright sun shine? Or the midnight moon so pure and divine?
Walk out of the stress where you’re curled, For we are drifting in the stream of the world!
I love nature poems. My mom used to write them all of the time. I like the theme of just taking time to admire things around you. While many people concentrate on the depressing parts of life they get wrapped up in it and never just look around at the good or pretty things in life.
I am a nature lover and I must say this is brilliantly written. I loved every lines as each one of them depicts either the sense of seeing, smell, touch or sound - thus portraying the beauty of nature.
We are all so busy that we sometimes fail to see the world we are living in. I think we should all once in a while stop and contempt on what is around us, the magnificent gift given to us by God. You showed that intelligently through this imagery, which I like very much:
'Have you ever noticed the bright sun shine?
Or the midnight moon so pure and divine?'
Very beautiful, colorful and peaceful poem on nature written wisely.
Congratulations on your badge, you deserve it.
Really reminds me of something I wrote a while back called "Have You Ever?"
Overall, really liked the concept and rhyming scheme. Nice imagery as well. Great job. c:
Beautiful work. So often we're so hurried or self-concerned, that we forget to look around at the beautiful things around us. We forget to realize that life isn't all bad or crazy or whatever we're feeling. There is life and color all around us, we just have to choose to see it, even though its hard to sometimes. Nicely written.
A wonderful reminder "to take the time" to open our eyes to the treasures around us. We need to do this more frequently in this hectic world we live in. Beautiful write and the graphic was lovely. Thank you for "Keeping the Dream Alive".
