MOON

Slowly, steadily she came up high,
Ensconcing behind the cloudy sky,
On the green grass meadow as I lie,
I smiled imagining that she felt shy.

Thousands of stars winked her way,
From behind the clouds she did sway,
With her, the clouds loved to play,
Sullied her in shades of gray.

She glimmered all through the night,
Looking like a ball so pure in white,
Along with the stars she gives light,
She is nature’s midnight delight!

Yes, 'she is nature's midnight delight!' indeed! The moon is one of the things I love the most about the night and it has always been an inspiration for me.
I love how in the second stanza you made everything come into life .. the stars, the clouds, and the moon as they communicate with each other in silence.
You painted a beautiful picture in the sky, and I love this poem.
