I relished being a fish, swimming deep into seas, crossing the turquoise borders immersing into the emerald surface, touching the spongy seagrass, tickling the coral reefs.
I swirled up and high dancing in glory felt like touching the amethyst sky, splashing the waters around, causing ripples and waves, there I saw you shimmering in moonlight.
My whole world missed a beat, looking into your sea blue eyes, fell into the oceans of love, the touch of your hands, gentle caress on my bosom, bloomed within me a thousand flowers.
As your fingers slid down, down my satin fresh skin, I wished to no longer stay a mermaid, I followed you to the shore, fins fluttering in merriment, you winked and I swam faster.
My souls touched the ecstasy, heart beating in the rhythm of love, you gestured me to leave, but how could I??? I waited there till you left, twitched, twirled, whirled, breathless …
Caught in the net you’d earlier spread, washing to the shore, heart beating fast, faster, aching for one first last kiss, capturing your image in my heart, eyes turning cold, dropping down in thought of you…
I love the romance you have created in that poem. I adore the pictures and the blue font gives me imagery of the sea. I would have looked forward to see a first last kiss but you both didn't make it. But overall wonderful poem
I like the poem. The sea and mermaids always can create a very good story. I like the detail and description in the poem. One of the oldest fantasies is to be saved by a beautiful mermaid and live in paradise. A excellent poem.

Great imagery. I really like this. You detail very well the way a person might feel after meeting someone who for whatever reason they can never have but who turns their world upside down and leaves them wanting more.
