The road was clean, green and long, I didn’t know where it would lead, But I know for sure, This will lead to a beautiful place yet to be crowded, Maybe this serenity, to man’s mental pressure will be a cure! How I wish I could enter into this mystic thicket, Where only me and myself is there Surrounded by the sound of nature, Discovering the world behind it, Oh wow, my adventurous soul it will nurture… Walking deep into the sylvan place, Without looking back, I trekked and trekked and trekked, The beautiful sound of the gushing waterfall Filled my incisive ears, “Huh” where am I? on good gracious heaven??? I sauntered forward, without any fears… The pulchritude of nature, the sound of water Ah ah! It flabbergasted my mind, I stood there stunned, Looking at god’s magnificent creation, Man can never compete, With this great foundation! Seconds, minutes and hours passed I stood there mesmerized, Then all of a sudden I realized I was lost amidst the water and trees, Finally found my way back, Even now, thinking of it would make my mind freeze!
You've just captured nature's quiet elegance. I find it really appropriate to describe nature as some magical world where people can get lost in its beauty. This is one tender poem.
Poem is outstanding. I was a roamer. I was in the military for 15 years. I cross the USA many times. I would look for those places quiet and peaceful. I like the feel and you took me on a field trip with your words.

What a wonderful trek .. a remembrance of beauty ! To just lose yourself in such a place would be a heaven indeed and you took me with you: 'Looking at god’s magnificent creation, Man can never compete, With this great foundation! -
how very, very true.
The pulchritude of nature, the sound of water
Ah ah! It flabbergasted my mind,
I stood there stunned,
Looking at god’s magnificent creation,
Man can never compete,
With this great foundation!
Seconds, minutes and hours passed
I stood there mesmerized,
Then all of a sudden I realized
I was lost amidst the water and trees,
Finally found my way back,
Even now, thinking of it would make my mind freeze!
I could easily say... Love the beginning and the end and more
To bad it has to end... x0x0x0
love this one. it reminds us of how God is really good for giving things, i mean everything as exactly as they are. keep it up.
nice choice of topic. :)
Nature is the most true and pure escape from the bustling of everyday life.. here you take the reader through a realistic and dreamy walk and find yourself lost in the trees and water. This could be either lost in the dreaming sense I found or just lost not knowing the elements in which case it could be scary if you don't know the place you are venturing off to.
It's a good reminder to people to not just forge off into areas of the unknown without some preparation.. or a plan of some sort. Nature is many things.. high peaking beauty .. with some dangers lurking to be aware of.. great job!
The rhyming was a little off, but the image it projected was strong enough to push through it, it's a nice place to be taken to, interesting lines to explore.
