My Fair Maiden!A Poem by Shalini DineshThe old color faded arch Looked even more dull on the Gloomy summer evening, With no one around nor the wind That could cause ruckus and spoil The scenic grace of such a lovely place… There stands my maiden, In her satin white wedding gown, so Beautifully woven, to fit her Perfectly carved figure, With red-hot anger that slightly marred Her recherché charm, will for sure cause no harm… Her makeup and eye shadow Complimented her ever splendid eyes, The mask in her hand will no more be needed, For eloping from her house had been successful, Oh, I knew how furious she would be, for I have delayed Leaving the fears apart, I should plan of how to safely depart. Make no noise, or galloping sound my silly bronco! For it will alert my lady, And spoil my secret admiration, Oh, lady so fair, awesome and flawless, My lovely gift ever from cupid, Couldn’t stop but to love her more, to the depth of my heart’s core From her behind, I shall sweep her feet Hear her rebukes and even bear her kicks, At last I shall kiss her lips, Lock her words and know she’ll titter, Will ride her to my wonderland Keep her happy then ever, and her tears, oh there will be “NEVER”! ************************************************************* AWARDS/ BADGES WON: Mascarade ~ Gold Star Mar 11, 2010interesting Apr 12, 2010Third Place Apr 17, 2010Ivory Award Jul 6, 2010© 2011 Shalini Dinesh |
