Come Dine With Us

Come Dine With Us

A Poem by Shalini Dinesh

Come dine with us

There’s this grand day is all about to come,

Join us our endeared cognate and camaraderie,

As the lights of party glimmers at dusk,

Lets party till the golden rays of dawn peeks in,

For joys and fun was never and ever a sin!

Planned is the day of joy, as it ties us again,

Togetherness as we sing and applaud, cheers

To the long lasting bonds that we’ve shared,

“Togetherness” as we tap to its melody as it bonds,

Drenching into the splashes of joyous love ponds.

Quench the thirst my friends! Thirst of compassion,

Plaited together with need and sacrifice, willing

Are those, who extend their hand to those in need!

This party is for you to douse within thankful hearts,

Little deeds you’ve done have mended those torn parts.

Come dine with us, for the day is filled with love,

Come dine with us, for the days is for passionate hearts,

Come dine with us, for it’s loaded with kudos and praises,

Will you come dine with us, at this grandeur of day?

For you know why and we’ve nothing left to say!
