Come Dine With Us

Come Dine With Us

A Poem by Shalini Dinesh

Come dine with us

There’s this grand day is all about to come,

Join us our endeared cognate and camaraderie,

As the lights of party glimmers at dusk,

Lets party till the golden rays of dawn peeks in,

For joys and fun was never and ever a sin!

Planned is the day of joy, as it ties us again,

Togetherness as we sing and applaud, cheers

To the long lasting bonds that we’ve shared,

“Togetherness” as we tap to its melody as it bonds,

Drenching into the splashes of joyous love ponds.

Quench the thirst my friends! Thirst of compassion,

Plaited together with need and sacrifice, willing

Are those, who extend their hand to those in need!

This party is for you to douse within thankful hearts,

Little deeds you’ve done have mended those torn parts.

Come dine with us, for the day is filled with love,

Come dine with us, for the days is for passionate hearts,

Come dine with us, for it’s loaded with kudos and praises,

Will you come dine with us, at this grandeur of day?

For you know why and we’ve nothing left to say!

This is such a lifting, rhythmic song of joy! You give an emotional depth to the love and wonder of people gathering together... to feasts of voices as well as foods... This is a glimpse of the world as it should be... Ever sunlight and dancing...

Very upbeat and happy. I don't like the first line, ' There’s this grand day is all about to come,'. It reads funny to me, or maybe I'm just reading it funny. It has a nice flow though.

I would raise my glass of great joy,
Filled to the brim with golden moments and happy feelings. (For now a great poem)
If ever anyone decide to have a party.
I am sooooo joining. :)

Sometimes we need to simply enjoy and celebrate being alive and the friends and loved ones around us. This is a great tale of celebrating and watching the sun come up.

This has a wonderful, happy joyous feeling to it, full of love and acceptance as the invitation to join in the feast to come goes out.

To dine in a way as you request is surely an act offered by a heart filled with love and compassion, and fulfilled by the same kind of loving soul! It is a party one should be honored to be a part of!
Thank you for your request for me to review it...........it is my honor!!
(one small note just to help - lets should be "let's" as it is "let us", which you might prefer to use.....must be hard to do translations to English so I greatly admire you for even attempting our difficult language!)

I enjoy reading and reviewing on sites like this, and I`m always struck by the high quality of poems from India, and this is excellent, well written, a solid structure, good imagery, you should be very pleased with this.
