TwistedA Poem by shallimarRoseTwisted I sit and breathe this air ..........pondering arrogance manifests arrogance too many deeds get left undone questions go unanswered as do prayers, sometimes truths bear hidden lies yet lies seldom bear truths meanings are lost in moments of lust webs are woven and tangled trust mangled love strangled hatred multiplies in a world that justifies twisted behavior of manipulative beings trying to twist and shape everything and everyone to fit into their molds a misguided presence irregular in shape and lacking luster like twisted olives dry and discolored fallen from an olive branch that once held hope where now regrets like fruit live and die in the bottom of an old martini glass
