Butterfly morning

Butterfly morning

A Poem by shallimarRose
"

always observing beauty

"

Butterfly Morning

in the springtime morning air

on flower slight I saw her sit

I cherish each so soft and rare

beside the humming bird she lit

and with the fragrant jasmine spent

slowly flapping velvet wings

most of the morning quite content

on pleasures that the nectar brings

from cup to cup I watched her swoon

a breeze that took her by surprise

sometimes she stays till almost noon

then floating on air

Away she fly’s

How lovely !

And yes, there is nothing quite so relaxing or tranquil than watching the beauty and majesty of a butterfly as she flits from one flower to the next in a quiet garden. Gives us a good perspective our our place in the universe. :)
