GOOD mornings...

Morning brushes alabaster  skin

reflecting  loves  angelic glow

crimson lights of a thousand dawns

press my eyes gently open

my heart bares it’s soul

in the silence of butterfly kisses on your skin

whispering the fragrance of jasmine

in the misty veils of dawn

hushed are the willows

weeping silently in the distance

opal moon softly recedes 

stone-washed eyes smile

gown at the foot of the bed knows why...

Such a morning finds evidence of such bliss tucked in the folds of the gown below...your words are mesmerizing! As an October gal, I love opals so any time I see, or read of the stone I am reminded of its fire and alabaster purity.

Opals are my favorite.. My husband bought me one only 3 weeks after we started dating.. I only wear it on our anniversary now because its so old and i would just die if I lost it.. There is no stone that holds the fire of an opal. Thank you for reading Sheila.. huggs, Rose
