GOOD mornings...

GOOD mornings...

A Poem by shallimarRose

Morning brushes alabaster  skin

reflecting  loves  angelic glow

crimson lights of a thousand dawns

press my eyes gently open

my heart bares it’s soul

in the silence of butterfly kisses on your skin

whispering the fragrance of jasmine

in the misty veils of dawn

hushed are the willows

weeping silently in the distance

opal moon softly recedes

stone-washed eyes smile

gown at the foot of the bed knows why...

Sweetly erotic, emphasis on the sweet. There is only praise here, I love this!

Very beautiful and soft, like the haze of a morning sunrise igniting the dew on the lawn, reaching for the heavens so it may return again to bring pleasure to the eye and the heart.

Such a morning finds evidence of such bliss tucked in the folds of the gown below...your words are mesmerizing! As an October gal, I love opals so any time I see, or read of the stone I am reminded of its fire and alabaster purity.

This is a beautiful poem filled with imagery and personification, two literary techniques that require skill and proper usage. I love the images ("crimson lights of a thousands dawns," "hushed are the willows / weeping silently in the distance," "stone-washed eyes smile"). Beautiful poem!
