alone she sits beside the
lake her captured reflection appearing in the water memories return in echoed silence of the hurt assailed upon her heart her cries reverberating in the tonality of his voice and the finality of his
words her tears fall to the water in echoed rings of salvation lost for she had pined away until
nothing was left but a
reflection and a repeated voice that cried in the night why, why, why, why, ....
and her name was echo
