Maybe one day.A Poem by Ken BaldwinShattered heart, Shattered dream. I tread, carefully, So no one can see, In how much pain, I truly be. Whirlwind romance, Enraptured soul, I was broken, Not long ago. She kissed my scars, and healed them all. Gave me hope. I stood tall. Again it crumbles, I fall back down. In low self esteem, My heart does drown. She gave me hope, Then took it away. The pit of despair, Darkness envelopes, Gone, my light of day. I had strength, Now I've none. I'm so cold. Without my sun. My love doth smolders, Awaiting her return. Maybe one day, again, Our true love will burn.
