Candle in the Dark

Candle in the Dark

A Poem by Ken Baldwin

You have brightened the darkness of my soul,
Please don’t shine into the corners.
For you will awaken the creatures there,
They are ravenous and full of rage.
I am very fond of you and there are better ways to see you get eaten.
