untitledA Poem by Ken BaldwinVery macabre.Seeking blood, unredeemed, It fuels my purpose. A purpose you’ll never know, As life leaves your body. Celebrating your soul, By savoring your corpse. Sweet hot blood flowing, Its taste intoxicating. I cannot be contained, I take, leaving little in return. Finding release inside you, A seed condemned to fail. Drunk on your fluids, As you rot with mine. Holding you close to me, Reveling in our union. Death has made me feel again, My spirit lifted and joyous. Your gift fulfilling me, I can continue existing. But we must part my love, I ache to roam free and wild. Your energy empowers me, To dig within and without. Interring your beautiful vessel, Gently into a shallow grave. And I take my leave of you, Never to return.
