SufferingA Poem by Ken BaldwinMore writing to cope with a morning of pain.Morning full of pain, Hard to keep it together. Thinking of you helps, Better than anger. I want to say I love you, Not sure I really feel it. Something to hold onto, Inside the agony. You don’t want to hear it, But please indulge the thought. Your presence has brought light, Chasing away the demons. Striving to fight the darkness, That which you made smaller. It is growing again, Please make it stop. Searing pain tormenting me, I can’t fight it alone, Hold me until its gone.
