Adam's Dilemma

Adam's Dilemma

A Poem by .:Arianna:.

If you went to sleep aloft one night,
and in your dream in blinding light,
an angel would appear to say:
''Dearest dreamer, welcome
to Heaven's Bay...''

For this one night, stay here
and live like your forefather did.
Be master of the world,
explore, name and dwell.

One thing though, I must tell:
From those two Trees,
the Silver and the Gold.
From only one you can drink.

Which would it be?

This is great! I like the new creative reference to the biblical account. I also really like the illustrations.

You should make this one longer......

Which one will he decide to drink of? Either way it will change his life forever. Another really nice poem.

Love it. It has a mystical romanticism to it with elements of Wordsworth and Coleridge as well. Very nicely written. Easily a favorite.

I love this piece! It is spellbinding, descriptive, and full of imagination. It reminds me a little bit of Alice in Wonderland for some reason, but I love the fact that it does = ] Your word flow is brilliant...great work, Arianna!
