Spiderwebs and Clouds

Spiderwebs and Clouds

A Poem by Veronica

I see the fire in your eyes

and the pain in your heart.

I can only meet you in the clouds,

amidst the fog and rain.

This is our test, to be overcome.

We will survive or we will fail.

Our souls are alive,

while our hearts cry.

A love so great,

a connection so strong.

Forbidden for now,

maybe forever.

We are a princess and her dark knight

Wandering forever together,

yet alone.

In a world of clouds, spiderwebs, and angels.

Veronica, captivating poem, the intent has delving, spiritual, enchanting,
realistic, dark romantic shadow, the simplicity and form worked nicely.
the idea is vivid and absolutely draws the reader to ponder. great job!
