Dreams

Dreams

A Poem by Gem
"

Something I hurridly wrote in my room a month or so ago..

"

Dreams can appear in all forms
Some are memories, ripped and torn...
Some good, some bad,
Some happy, some sad.
Some dreams make you feel like you can fly,
That feeling of soaring on a permanent high.
... But that bubble can burst,
Good dreams can fade.
That dream of flying can change to falling.
Good memories quickly fade,
To leave you feeling alone and afraid.
These dreams we steer clear of
In hope of dreams of love.
Of our own "Fairy-tale ending"
With our "One true destined love"

Nice work...
I loved your ending lines-
"Of our own "Fairy-tale ending"
With our "One true destined love""
:)

But the fact is that...Even fairy tales dont always have a happy ending.....

well..
I loved your work...
writing about dreams....and then using metaphor of bubble...
a nice piece....
keep it up!

To have been hurriedly, written this is really good. People have dreams but never stop to think about what it is that they mean to them. You've done a very nice job in analyzing what dreams are: a mystery that we want to understand but probably never will. This is an exceptional piece and I like it. Good work.
