Healing

Healing

A Poem by Shannon Carinne Sparks
"

I felt at peace writing this, like there might be some glimmer of hope after all.

"

Surrounded by azure blue skies
I search the chill of the morning air
peace flows in through my clear tear-stained eyes
The fragile beauty of life soft and fair

Rose petals delicate to mundane touch
A wish stagnantly floating on the wind
Blows away whispering emotional words
Her smooth voice inviting a blush
From newborn flowers rended
Left in mental agony perterbed

The pain I once felt dwindles and dies
As new hope mother-nature bears
Frightened by the prospect of these cries
I elope with patience and wait for thoughts to clear

This is beautiful. I can get behind the idea of mother nature consoling us. I agree with Henrym..."Rose petals delicate to mundane touch" is truly inspired.
