Memories of You

Its a poem dedicated to a close friend.

God endowed me with a gift,
To which I merrily agree.
A relation and bond to care and uplift,
A person I trust with me.
A person who always makes me smile,
A source of hope, a charm who brings sparkle in my eyes.
Together we laugh harder, we share secrets, we fight and tease each other.
Being with you is a bliss,
Which makes my life bright, light and right.
It makes me believe you are always close to me,
I will never leave you in pain.
Will always try to make you smile,
Even if all my efforts go in my vain.
Whether we are living close or are miles apart,
You will always have a special place in my mind and in my heart.
Through hardships of life,
Through the many ups and downs.
My love for you will be pure,
Two different figures with sweet little hearts,
A promise to be together is what I assure.
