Another Day to Witness

Another Day to Witness

A Poem by wolfie

Love twisted to Hate
Hate transformed to Love
I admit, I am a fool
I learn, but nary a subject I understand
I breathe, I live
As dead cells flake from my skin
Like ash from a fire
Still I hold out
Hope hammered into my Soul
Pounding against my temperament
As Pain becomes the nail to hold me upright
Strength is the steel in my spine
That transforms naivety to cautiousness
I live to die
Yet, against my nature
Still, I stand
