With the Many Phases

With the Many Phases

A Poem by wolfie

Normal was a rare word in her dictionary
Although others may be deceived at first sight
Her hair falls in longs dark waves
Her eyes a smooth chocolate brown
Every day was leisure wear
The same could not be said of the night
Like the many faces of the moon
She's a beauty at dawn
The devil at dusk
Metal embellishes her skin
Thick collars and fur cuffs
Dead skins and leathers
If the morning she dresses in cloth
The night she is adorned in the dead and soulless
She is a two-sided coin
Who smiles with the sun besides daisies
Runs with the Moon along wolves
Untamed, precious, and a woman of her own

A flowing description of someone who enjoys a double life in two worlds, one domestic the other much less so!
