Day Thieves

Day Thieves

A Poem by wolfie

Daydreams are like sunrise
They rise as beginnings of hopes
Burn slowly across the skies with passions
Chilled only by the compadre blue
Life flies by on colored feathers and daffodils
Then the vocals echo with a wave of emotions
Love, hatred, a wide range of complaints
Until it all Eventually vanishes
Either as an awakening or a goodbye
It all just implodes as stars do
Rather quaint for a daydream
