Let's Keep Throwing These Paper Airplanes

Let's Keep Throwing These Paper Airplanes

A Poem by wolfie

Wind under wing,
dragging the air through their tips.
Paper airplanes carry our wishes.
Flying high,
over roof tiled houses,
catching dust from dream clouds.
Floating letters,
in neat cursive.
So high,
yet it's only a plane of paper,
so it eventually falls,
down,
into a dirty mud puddle.
Reflection of those same little words,
ink blurry under the mucky water.
Until both the paper and the words are just gone.
