When the World doesn't want to know your name

When the World doesn't want to know your name

A Story by wolfie

It seemed that today the world wanted to reflect my turmoils, as if that was what it thought  I really needed right now. So here I was standing under a leafless tree under the pouring rain with a cup of coffee.
Where did I get this cup of coffee if I was standing in the rain you ask?
I walked in to the nearest building that was selling coffee, bought it, and decided I wanted to go right back outside. Seems reasonable in my opinion, for others I wouldn't know.
The whole day had been stressful, and I was just itching to go home. However, when you're waiting for your ride to come, and even they don't know when they'll come, impatience breeds in the mind. Perhaps that's why I wanted to do something spontaneous, scenic; the reason I'm standing outside in the rain underneath a bald tree with a cup of coffee.
It almost seemed surreal, and that was exactly what I needed. Cold vs. warm, tired yet standing, exhausted but anticipating; all of it was sensational and stimulating. Something I haven't felt in a while with all the work and studying. This would probably be mundane though to plenty of people, but in a world that doesn't seem interested in placing a spotlight on just anybody, this was my private adventure.
