Late Goodbyes

Late Goodbyes

A Poem by wolfie

Soar on Butterfly wings
somewhere over the horizon
unto a bridge made from the dust of stars.
A voice that storms like an ocean
singing a song of a story
from the throat of a dying sparrow.
All the humor in that graceful smile
pouring out like an oasis during a journey on a desert
raining out of the fountain of youth.
Breathing out an earthquake
teasing all those walking over the hill
all the while they are crying.
Wander or peaceful
hiding or lost
still the world is thoughtful, thinking of that disappearance
and the security that comes from the faith of entities unseen and unheard.
All this while you vanished from my life
first plummeting like a hole underneath me
then drowning me in the truth of your light
and finally gone like the wind...
only I never feel you again...
