Daybreak Mid Night

Daybreak Mid Night

A Poem by wolfie

Sung with a voice as pleasant as ether,
drifting through the heavenly rain,
she cried tears of love.
Her heart fluttered as high
before her feet fell below her.
Hair a tangled mess as she waited for her beloved,
gazing through the tear drop sky that hid the stars above.
The soft sound of thunder of afar rushing forward.
Her eyes closed for an instance and that was all that was necessary.
The large bowl hovered over,
the hook in the hand of her familiar.
Palm in palm and fingers entwined,
the thunder floated off along with the rain.
In the arms of her love,
she was home.
