Dear Endearment

Dear Endearment

A Poem by wolfie

Cold Fire,
a burning blue rising in wisps,
snaking into our hearts.
It coils like chains,
cutting the veins,
until your venom love is coursing through mine.
My heat beats steady...steady,
but I know I'm dying,
melting in your golden embrace.
Close my eyes,
and dreaming,
retracing the little details that create your face.
I'm begging,
silent prayers that you are my fate.
That the love of you can save me.
Longing dearly to wake besides you,
even if we burst under the sun...
Ashes entwining and wandering in the wind,
carry our voices through time.
