All I Leave to you

All I Leave to you

A Poem by wolfie

The words to send me away were on the tip of your tongue,
but there must have been a reason as to why they never spilled.
We are toxic to each other,
yet it's a poison I'd gladly inhale if only to die besides you,
because there would be no life without you.
If there were ever an opportune to prove my love,
I'd gladly lay by your feet,
whether I was beaten black and blue,
or writhing in the abysmal hell you leave me to.
Murder me in my sleep,
as I dream of such an enchanting beast that shares your name,
and so my tainted angel wings shall protect my shining treasure in which my mortal self was once limited.
My life and death is the gift I present you

Beautiful, sad, and romantic all wrapped into one. You can tell that this person is madly and completely one-hundred percent in love to the point where it's almost sad to watch. Brilliant poem that says so much and is so vivid that it evokes images in my head. Fantastic job :).
