Lover of My Soul

Lover of My Soul

A Poem by wolfie

Do with me what you will,
for you have torn my bloody heart from the roots.
You who I have treated with care,
you who I had feared would shatter by my hands.
Shying away after what you've done,
abandoning me to my fearsome loneliness.
Contemplating on all our memories,
failing to understand why we broke apart.
Lover of my soul,
nail me to the cross.
