Leap of Faith

Leap of Faith

A Poem by wolfie

If I were to do anything,
I would imagine it would be easier with open eyes.
Yet they are closed,
pressed into a line difficult to see through.
Nothing is ever quite in front,
having to veer off to stumble into what I want.
Yet what is it that I long to find?
My arms are reaching out hoping to grasp it,
that idealism that could fuse my reality.
Fear paralyzes the chance for risks,
embedding caution in action.
When will I learn to leap with faith,
to fly without limits?
Must I pry out my eyes to find what i desire?
