Parallels

Parallels

A Poem by wolfie

Vast universe,
enveloped in darkness,
with ice stones twinkling against the blanket of night,
and fiery orbs writhing with energy.
Boundary between dimensions and planes,
parallel to our world and their world, our universe and theirs,
where in one I am dead, the other alive,
the coin lands in tails; no heads perhaps.
The supernatural walks among us,
a dystopian world,
where civilization walk among the stars,
where we've never risen from the sea,
where the tyrant rules the nations,
where everyone is free with no responsibilities,
crawling in a mountain of ruin,
where nothing exists.
Vast darkness, veil of golden worlds, or lack thereof,
portal to the paths we have taken, and yet not,
actuality and the fiction yet truth of us.
