Friendly Apparition

Friendly Apparition

A Poem by wolfie

Everlasting evergreen,
as the breeze blows by,
nuzzling into my shoulder and neck,
murmuring a gentle goodbye,
as warm tea spills,
steam rising like wisps,
gone is the apparition,
who wished me best.

Short but sweet little ambiguous piece.
I like the use of alliteration, consonance and assonance to help the it flow despite the stops of your use of punctuation.
It's very nice thought I wish it was just a little bit longer.
I look forward to reading more of your work!
