My trust in you is Lost

My trust in you is Lost

A Poem by wolfie

Stumbling, crumbling,

down,

down,

down,

to my knees,

arrow pierced,

just not to the heart,

no, more vital,

more corrupted than that wicked smile,

My hand grips my chest,

preventing what is left not to fall out,

it's rusting, rotting, revolting,

that rough hands that pulls me back,

leave,

leave,

leave,

leave me to the pain you've left me wallowing in,

but no you want it back,

you want the love I gave you returned with interest,

an interest I refuse to pay,

what more could I possibly give you,

you want my life,

but I've already given you my soul,

leave me to my broken innocence,

leave me to my withering dreams,

leave me to my fragile thoughts,

leave, just leave me to this empty shell you've made me.

My trust in you is lost...
