The Value in Gold

The Value in Gold

A Poem by wolfie

A dream, a goal, a challenge, a puzzle...

A pet, a photo, a ring, a lover...

A mosaic painted by a lone brush,

cooked, grilled, fried, and steamed by the hands of time,

boiled until the illusion of hope,

or perhaps love? Found beyond molten ground,

unified in the embrace of zenith.

That which radiates amiability,

a trait pertained by a formidable

respect enchanted from cordial zeal.

Stained glass made of the shards from tinted souls,

a beautiful treasure all on its own.
