Alone

Alone

A Poem by wolfie

Absolute solitude...

As I lay on my bed,

with shadows as my only friend,

alone with my demons,

guilt and regret building,

cheeks soaked with fear.

In all these ninety years,

lies slipped through these devilish lips of mine,

trapped in melancholy blues.

Punishment for my sins,

this isolation from personal paradise,

undeserving of any kindness.

Condemned to my bed,

ghost whisper in my ear,

He's creeping closer in cycles of eight.

Don't let me die alone,

paralyzed,

my voice fall on death ears,

Isolated...

Alone...

Forgotten......
