The Re-Occurance of Dawn

The Re-Occurance of Dawn

A Poem by wolfie

Sun dried leaves near ocean waves,

infinite space separated by a mere five centimeters,

Dusk greets Dawn who welcomes morning after night,

temperatures drop like a comet passing stars,

wind lifts leaves for a grand show,

waltzing with the sound of miniature violins,

lamps light a path above the ocean,

no breathing bodies pass,

however, spirits linger on the path wondering where the lights might lead,

as night succumbs to morning,

chimes of laughter fill the air,

vehicles belch large black clouds,

but in the distant horizon over the ocean,

all that continues to remain is silence.
