Born in a Planet, sentenced to The World.

Born in a Planet, sentenced to The World.

A Poem by Simon Omboga

Sometimes we feel like this life,
Like a prison it can be.
And the systems, and rules of this World can lock us up,
...And sometimes we do accept them, as our own,
And all of a sudden it feels like a prison.

Yet life is free,
Real life is made on Planet Earth, and not in the World,
We need to attach ourselves to the Planet Earth,
And detach ourselves from the World,
...For the World is created by Men, hence it is a prison.

But The Planet Earth,
Oh; The Planet Earth,
Is a natural land, created by no Human hand...
And it is the place you and I need to be...
For it is The Land of the free.
